Sunset image

I had to take my sister home to Palmerston north on Monday because she totalled her car. On the way home I was getting blinded by the sunset so i decided to pull over and take a photo of it.

It has had minor adjustments in Photoshop but is largely straight off my camera.

CD Cover

This is a large picture of the CD cover. I tried to make it look as if the 3 guitars and snare drum are on fire within the flames. For this I used Photoshop - particuarlly the clone tool.

This is a CD cover that I did for my partners band. It was very time consuming but a great experience. It is not everyday that 80 people are going to are going to have 1 piece of art work that you have done.

The Eye...

This Cyanotype was originally from a magazine which I turned into a negative and then the cyanotype.

Cyano-bikes

This cyanotype is of two bikes leaning on a brick wall. The depth of colour is amazing! This photography is a great love of mine. I would love to do some more on fabric and make amzing clothes with them.

Pin Hole Photo

This was taken during summer school along with others. I love the detail and the curve caused by the tin I used as a camera. Both pictures look great as a pair.

The Famous Doc Martins

In January Wanganui UCOL hold a summer school and for one intensive and fun week you can learn or advance a skill or passion that you have. In 2007 I did Alternative Photography. This has gone into my record books as potentially one of the best things I have ever done. One day when I have the time and place I would love to set up a darkroom.

The above Photo was taken using a pin hole camera and then transferred to Photo paper.
